High School Memories 1979 -1982
Danny Sakol & Jimmy Spilane - best friends trying to convince Joel to go out. All of Joel's friends (Sakol's, Jimmy Spilane, Gary Berman, Doug Keller, George Thorogood, Ira Silverman, Raju Sharma, and some others) used to knock on Joel's window at night (we lived in a ranch house -1floor) to get Joel to go out. Joel always went home early. I would always hear Joel yelling from his room at night "guys shut-up leave me alone...I'm not going out, get away from my window." That was my signal to get dressed, put some make-up on...The guys would then come around to the back of the house to my window and I would already be half way out the window when Joel would bust me. "Your not going out, its late, mom will kill you!" His friends and I would say "Joel, your such a geek, stop begin such a grandpa" he would say "Jill be careful please, and guys YOU BETTER TAKE CARE OF MY SISTER!"

Very funny story...this was 1983 Prom year. Joel and I (big hair from the left bottom) both went as dates. From top left...Adam Sakol, Danny Sakol, Jimmy Spilane, Joel, Bryan Herman, and Danny Pompa. Joel and I spent the whole time hanging out. We were on the dance floor when Joel swung me out for a twirl when he grabbed the top ruffle part of my dress. Well I swung across the dance floor while Joel held onto 12 feet of dress that was UNRUFFLED! I had to roll it up in a big ball and tuck it under my arm. I looked like a hunch back...We never laughed so hard.
First I have to stop laughing...ok...I (jill) dated Danny Sakol in highschool (First love) but i dated his brother Adam before...I was in sleep away camp when he (adam) sent me this photo.
There is no way DOUGY, that I am removing this from the website!!
